Ok guys, some of them already exist, but I picked up the top 10 things that I wish for to be added to Minecraft as soon as possible.
1. Mud = Basically, "some" blocks of dirt after rain/near water. Earth + Water = Mud! It would be also a great building material, old tribes and people even in 20th century used mud to build smaller houses.
2. Tall Grass = A grass in real life is constantly growing. I would like to see block of grass one on top of another in deep forests. It could also be used as a material. Like snow.
3. Spike Block = Something great for traps. Again, as tribes used to hunt animals for food. Should be activated by pressure plates or redstone dust.
4. Helther = Oposite to Nether. Why should there only be "hell"? Let's extend materials and teleport to heaven.
5. Ships = Built from a wooden material. Possibly wood planks. Ability to move, just like boats.
6. More Weapons = More weapons to fight off mobs and enemies. Some that I can think of; Crossbow, Throw-able Torch, Arrows on fire, Sledge Hammer... And lot's of other stuff. [>>-i>]
7. Rivers = Water flowing through the land. They could be about 2-4 blocks wide.
8. Chairs/Benches = I bet many people have suggested this, but It would be really awesome to be able to sit :smile.gif:
9. Gunpowder Dust = Working just like redstone dust, just inflammable and disappearing in it's own trail as fire bursts quickly. It could give power to objects currently and set objects to fire.
10. Tents = Something crafted quickly when you go to forest to pick up wood... Or go to a nearby cave to mine. It would be really useful to protect from mobs and sleep during the night.
I hope you like all of my suggestions. Or some of them. Anyway, I can think of much, much more, but these are ones that (by my opinion) Minecraft really needs. Oh, one more thing, I would have added "More Biomes" to the top 10, but it's really over-suggested. That should really be added too! xD
1) Already suggested, useless, no
2) Zillions of mods, already suggested, unminecrafty, no
3) Unminecrafty, griefable, stupid/unusual craft, random size, suggested, no
4) Already suggested, nothing new, no
5) Already suggested, IMPOSSIBLE (don't give me the boats crap because boats are an entity, and as they are individual blocks you are placing you need impossible coding to define your sodding ship) Oh yes, and also: no
6) NO ****ING MACHINE GUNS!!!!!! Nothing new needed, pointless, ALREADY ****ING SUGGESTED, no
7) Stupid to code, pointless, lots of clashes with other biomes/formations, no
8) ALREADY SUGGESTED, pointless, no
9) IMPOSSIBLE TO CODE, griefable, useless, unminecrafty, already suggested, no
10) Already suggested, impossible to define, can't place items like that because of clashes, useless, making your own place is easy enough, no.
So, things to take away. NONE. Let me repeat. NONE of these ideas are yours, or in the slightest bit unique. NONE of them are useful. MOST of which are impossible. MOST of them ruin the feel of the game.
I just hope for the love of god you are just a really, really, really pathetic troll.
Ok, man! Slow down! What the ****...? That was my first post and all ideas are mine, except it has felt on somebody's else mind too! You really can't accept somebody's else opinion, can't you? What we're working on here is improving and extending Minecraft, not calling each others trolls.
6) Who the **** mentioned machine guns? Calm down. You would use something handheld except the sword and bow!
9) I don't see why that wouldn't be impossible to code. Much, much harder things were coded. How about this;
A block of Gunpowder Dust (Just like Redstone) 1sec wait, disappear, create particles, and start a next block when the first one finishes. That isn't so impossible, isn't it? Unminecrafty? Well according to you I guess neither is Red Dust.

Yeah, thanks for response :biggrin.gif:
Helter is just an example name I used :smile.gif:
I can't support a thread if there are some ideas I support, and some I do not. That's why there is a rule against this. Read said rules before posting. They are stickied for a reason.

I'm almost 100% positive that this have been suggested before but i'll suggest it again anyways
Being able to sail the boats I make has been a dream of mine but I don't get how it would work, and theres only on weapon I can envision being minecrafty and worthy of being in the game (spear) mainly because minecraft isn't a game made for "tactical" combat where you need to have weapons that are stronger in one way than another. Chairs in my own opinion need to be added. And the gunpowder trail wouldn't really be worth much as a:gunpowder is hard to get, and b:it would be used up on the first use, but then again theres no point in not adding it. Tents would be pointless unless there was some "hardcore" mode option enabled that made the game alot more survivalish.

Peace, oh and have a bacon!
Why mods? Why do I Have to mod the game? What If I want to build houses of mud in multiplayer with my friends on server that don't support that?
Modifying the game sucks. But everyone has it's own opinion.
If they add that stuff to the game... Then it's in game. And if they do nothing and wait for us to make mods, it's open source. Not Minecraft.
