I recently downloaded a mod to stack fences, which allows me to stack fence blocks on top of each other like regular blocks. I think that Notch should implement this as a regular feature, since some people may want this, and don't want to download a mod, and the mod wouldn't work on multiplayer. It's a small addition, but would add just a bit more to the game for players.
You already can stack fences, You just have to do it in a different way.
Step 1.
Place a normal block on the bottom and a fence on top ( = fence)
Step 2.
Replace the blocks with fences from top down
Step 3... well your done.
but nice suggestion, I do think there should be a better way

My suggestion was to not have to do that :wink.gif:

So yea I don't understand why notch has to have this complicated way to do it.

He agreed with you. Way to read the reply.
OT: I think this would be nice.
I would love it if this was fixed, I hate having to stack dirt.

I understand, just wanted to clarify.
