Ok, ok. I know there's already another thread about cheese blocks made earlier this month, but I think this version of the idea would be just as good, but would(probably; I know nothing about Java) be much easier and faster to implement. Here are the basics:
1. The block would need a texture. I was thinking either a recoloured snow block or a perfectly smooth yellow block. The texture would be the same on all six sides.
2. The blocks might be crafted like this:
As you can see, you only need four buckets to craft one, but you still need to use a workbench. Makes sense.
If you have any better ideas for the recipe then I'd definitely like to hear your thoughts on this.
3. The blocks would serve mostly a decorative purpose, but will also be a food item that works similarly to cake.
After the block is crafted, right-clicking with it will place it(like cake). Right-clicking on the block itself will eat it, regenerating . Unlike cake, it just disappears and is eaten in one go.
4. Blocks would be stackable to 64 like all other blocks, but would be irretrievable after they're placed. Although they stack to 64, they wouldn't be that effective as food in the thick of battle as they'd need to be placed first and don't heal much.

So, what are everyone's ideas on this?
Well maybe...
CHEESE CAKE! ...lol. Still No.
