Ok so I was thinking: in order to get a different painting you have to either change your texture pack or create your own new one. Why can't you make custom ones without having to go to all that trouble? Well with this mod you could have a crafting bench of sorts where you could edit your own paintings and save them in a folder in minecraft (Or something) Note: I don't know how any modding or things like that, so bear with me. The crafting bench, or "Painter's Bench" Would look like this: = Processed wood = Paper
After you made this, you would have to have wool* selected, and right click on the Painter's Bench. A Screen would pop up that has different colors and a square, with the same number of pixels as the 1x1 painting, and you could edit it to your will (This will be refered to as the Painter's Bench menu). When you are finished, you could save it to, like I said earlier, directly to a folder in the .minecraft folder, and on the Painter's Bench menu there would be a Save and Load button, where you could retrive your paintings or save new ones. Once you are satasfied, There would be a space, similar to the crafting bench retrival area, where you could get your painting. you would then be asked to give it a name. Before you could hang it though, you would have to make a frame, like this: []
After you make it, you would put your new custom painting inside the blank area in the middle. Then you could hang it where ever. The only thing is it would only be a 1x1 square, so you couldn't make a pixel version of Michelangalo's painting in the Sistene chapel (unless of course you combined the paintings).
Leave any Comments/suggestions/questions at the bottom, I want to know what you think.
*Different color wool= different color backround
