Really the only thing with survival mode right now is you have to get a shelter constructed within the first night. Once you get established it becomes pretty easy to play survival mode. I want to introduce two things that will make it more challenging to the survival mode long term.
1) HEALTH AND FOOD
Quite simply, your health bar will decrease an undetermined amount of health until either you die or you eat something to replenish the health. According to a google search, a human can last 3-5 days without food before dying, so perhaps you will lose 2 hearts a day unless you eat something.
2) SLEEP
If you don't sleep, the more sluggish your actions become over time. You move slower, you react slower when using a tool or weapon, etc. Also would be funny if you don't sleep for X days you start hallucinating, stuff like sounds around you like zombies (who aren't there), or you have visual hallucinations like flying pigs or scarier stuff like 10 creepers in your house when you return who really aren't there, etc.
Anyway, just thought that would add a whole new dimension to survival mode when you add all this into it. Thanks for reading!
