Maybe give some sort of indication the Wraith has spawned?
People have suggested red moons as indicators of the appearance of certain special mobs, how does that sound as a Wraith indicator? Alternately, why not ghastly moans/wails to indicate the Wraith's arrival in your present chunk?

Yeah, I remember reading that idea, and it's pretty nifty.

I don't like the idea.
I don't support this.
This is, of course, not constructive unless you give a bit of a reason why
I really wish Notch would pay more attention to people's mob ideas, because people tend to have really good ones. This included.
If Notch listened to everybody's ideas on the forum, he would literally have zero time to develop. The average quality of suggestions these days is rather low, and I personally wouldn't want Notch to pay attention to most of them.
I used to have this opinion, wanting him to pay more attention, making quite a few suggestions of my own, but stopped.
You have to realize that Notch is going to develop the game however he likes. He NEVER pays attention to any of the long, well thought out forum posts. The only one he ever acknowledged was alchemy, and he didn't even hold up the promises he made to implement it.
HE himself has said that the only suggestions he likes or pays attention to are stubs. Little two word seeds of ideas that inspire him. There's really no way anything from the suggestion forum will ever be implemented, in my humble opinion.
It's a waste of time. I know because I wasted a lot of time on it once, and have seen others do the same.
Unless you actually make a wildly successful (pistons) or greatly performance or graphic enhancing (McRegion and BetterLight) mod out of your feature complete idea, and then shove it in his face, with support from practically the ENTIRE community, you won't get any recognition from mojang.

Let me emphasize that NO CREEPERS should spawn, at all. Imagine you finish constructing your base, it's lookin real great, and then a wraith comes. All of a sudden a creeper invasion RAPES your base. Well, there goes the past 2 hours of work.

Well that's why the idea's for hard. I think hard difficulty should be less for those who want to try to build something beautiful and more for people who want to live on the edge and really get down for some survival!
Besides people playing on hard ought to be able to take out of couple creepers.
no! one you did somthing against the rules if you look at my post!
two its over powered!
three :Zombie:s can kill you in like3 seconds if unexpected
four i remember you!

It's about as OP as dungeons. In fact, it is a dungeon that appears on the surface and moves in a straight line, but only on hard mode. Also, it's rarer than dungeons and it gets OHK'd by fire.
Hah. When I read the title, I though "Hmm, it would be cool if it spawned mobs". A mob spawning mob would be pretty cool, although I am more excited about notch possibly adding zombies who are able to destroy structures.
