As it currently stands, to build a bridge over a large casm you need to creep up to the edge cautiously and click just past the edge. If there were a way to tilt your view just a bit you'd be less likely to fall of theedge. Sort of like how in some shooter games there's a function for looking around a corner.
Sneaking does everything leaning would let you do - as long as you hold shift, you literally cannot possibly fall.
Also, there's another forum for suggestions that is clearly labeled Suggestions, though I recommend learning what is in the game before suggesting new things to be added to the game.

False, I was actually working on a bridge that was above a massive chasm, and I was holding shift, walking along the bridge filling in gaps, when I thought "Hmm.. I would really not like to fall and lose everything, so I should probably make sure that I'm holding shift real good" So I proceeded to put more pressure on the shift key as to insure that I was sneaking and would not fall off. A few seconds later, I fell, and I did NOT release the shift key.
So even though the sneak works just fine, and I usually don't have a problem with it, it still has the potential to ruin your life. And the lean/tilt could also be useful when you want to lean out your door too see if there is a little creeper just waiting for you to walk out.
I approve, and I think this should be implemented.
