ok to go in-depth on an idea ive had for a while, here it is.
ok the idea of biomes is great. but i thin it should be organized. like introducing a cardinal directions feature. and have north be cold and tundra, middle being grass and south being desert. but in those areas at about 45-50 blocks have it start getting colder and snow forms. maybe elevating the highest building point to 75-80 blocks. so as you get higher its colder. then at 55 blocks it snows all the time only in that area.but snofall can drift into the lower areas. same as when you are in a cloud its wet. and as for weather, i think it should be more dynamic, like storms move through a region, not just turn on and off. as well as dry spells, where you need to place water or grass dries out and wildfires start. thanks for reading! Creepers be greifin!

that is true, but in real life youre normally stuck in the same biomes right? so maybe there could be a region feature inside tha bioms, to offer those places that are far away a home in the biome or seasons eh? like every 20 minecraft days it snows? then in 20 days it melts? sounds cool eh?

Canada is all tundra and sub-tundra except for that one odd rain forest (which is not tropical).
America is: desert, forest, mountains, swamps, plains, tropical, etc etc.
With the exception of tropical and desert, everything can be found in 49 of 50 states. about 50% of the time you can pass through all of those within the same county. Which is probably what he was getting at. People' aren't stuck in the same biome their entire life unless they live in canada. or hawaii..
There is such a thing as too much realism. This teeters near to that. I'd rather biomes just be more appropriately arranged without necessarily being realistically arranged.
