I did a search and couldn't find this easily so im gonna throw it out there.
A timer that can be used to activate/deactivate redstone during set times of the day. This could be used to activate traps that activate only at night or whatever.
Im thinking it should be created by using a clock on top of a redefine torch in the crafting area. And it will create a placable clock block.
Im on my pho.e so sorry for crappy formatting and no images.
Sounds useful! Frankly, there are a lot of potentially useful redstone circuits that should be made into block format instead of having to use improvised versions that take up a ton of space and resources.

That ruins the point.

I don't mean entire circuits per se, I'm talking about particular components like Repeaters (yes, I know we have those), splitters, inverters, and stuff. You know, make doing things more complex than a simple on/off switch less intimidating.

blatant lie.
The search has been down for about 12 hours, and if it was working, then you would have found dozens of threads about this.
That ruins the point.
