Excrements can come from all passive animals (not including chicken since it's poop doesn't fit these uses) including wolfs so that you can farm excrements.
I see no problem with this. When nature calls, one gotta do what one gotta do.

I'm thinking of two ways you can get excrements: either make it so sheep, cows and pigs poops (like chickens lay eggs)
Seems plausible. I reckon they will drop items and not blocks?
Quote from opoisgod »
or excrements will be "planted" automatically, like saplings, and will stay there for one Minecraft day (20 minutes) before it degrades.
Nah. Go with the former.
Quote from opoisgod »
After you harvest said excrements it will degrade from your inventory after 3-7 minecraft days.
Again, seems plausible, but meh, I don't like it.
USES:
Quote from opoisgod »
1. A more common fertilizer, rushing the sapling 1 Minecraft day ahead, just like you apply bone meal.
Again, plausible. Most of my family are farmers, and fertilizers really helps. But IMO, adding fertilizer to a sapling shouldn't shorten the process, but give you 100% chance of a supertree (those huge, annoying ones).

2. A darker shade of brown then coco beans.
No. Dying with any feces give a brown-green-ish color.
Quote from opoisgod »
3. Bricks!
This is how you can craft these bricks:
First, heat up the excrements in a furnace to dry it, preventing degrading, but won't be used for the first 2 uses.
Bricks: Great idea. Heating them: Not so much. Better clash raw excrements into molds, or make blocks.
Quote from opoisgod »
(If you want to reuse the excrements, put the dried excrements above a bucket of water to moisture up the excrements. The bucket will be empty afterwards)
No, useless.
Quote from opoisgod »
Place 3 piles of dried excrements in the top row of the workbench, 1 dirt block, 1 sand block and 1 gravel block in the middle row and then a bucket of water in the middle of the bottom row, which will craft a bucket of natural clay(?). Then, you heat up the bucket of natural clay in the furnace, and then the bucket will empty and you get one brick!

So, you can clearly see I'm not trollin'; so what do you think? =

creating 1 placeable block. It will set and become slightly lighter after a while.

I got the idea from my trip to Romania; my grandfather insisted on visiting the museum of how people lived before technology, in cabins and stuff.
When I was chillin' on a fence the guide told me that the fence is made from real dirt and horse leaves.
I took a shower afterwards.
I hope that was a long shower. With steel wool and Plumbo.
Guys, stop being so conceited, just picture it in your mind. Does putting cow feces in your pocket and rubbing it on wool sound remotely like something you would want in the game? Not only is this suggestion immensely ****ing childish, but it adds nothing new to the game. We can already dye wool brown, and skeletons already drop fertilizer.
This idea is childish, gross and adds nothing new to the game. I'm against.
Pretty much sums it up. Even if he isn't a troll it still isn't a very useful idea. We have fertilizer, and a dye for brown wool. Besides, nothing about **** is funny unless you are under the age of 14 or extremely immature/stupid.

Retired StaffMinecraft =/= old west.
Plus, it's still moronic and disgusting: Minecraft has clay.
An excrement brick? What for? You want to build something out of it? There's dirt. Fertilizer? There's bonemeal! Dye wool? COCOA BEANS!!!
I see no problem with this. When nature calls, one gotta do what one gotta do.

"You are really dumb, you are really dumb, fo' real,"
So? It's a great idea.
Well, I say: let them have their fun! They'll grow out of it. And what's so bad about making houses out of excrements?
That was hilarious
In Africa the tribes really do make houses out of poop.
I'll go for it
BTW, check out my new plan, please reply

I know. It's very energy efficient as well: Cools the house during the day, heats it during nighttime.

NOO!
I seriously can't get behind this idea.
Should I report for trolling?
He posted a legit idea when you read it... so it's not a troll.
