Well, this is my first suggestion for the game. I don't think he would bother with it, but might as well share an idea with you guys and see what you think.
Rusty tin men: a robotic-like mob that appears very rarely in the game. They are about the same size as the player, and they look like, well, a very rusty tin robot. And when I say robot, I mean a more fantasy-like one, running on more simpler power sources like steam, or something.
They are a neutral mob, meaning they won't hurt you if you leave them alone, but will try to defend itself if you try to mess with it.
Should they need to fight, they fight with whatever tool they have in their hand. When they spawn, they are given a random iron tool (like a shovel or an axe), which they wander around with. They don't do a lot of damage, and if you hit it by mistake, you can easily outrun it, because it's rusty joints make it unable to move very fast. When they die, they might drop the tool they were carrying for the player to use. Just don't rely on them for iron tools too much, because these robots are very hard to come by.
They can spawn during both day and night, and can spawn almost anywhere, like inside a dark cave or on top of a tall mountain. But they don't spawn anywhere near water, because if they get wet, it slowly kills them.
You'll know a rusty tin man is nearby if you can hear metallic footsteps when it moves, or the sounds of broken gears turning as it stands and looks around.
Well, what do you think? Anything missing? Anything wrong?
You know, I never thought about that at all when I thought up the idea. Heh heh...
I have watched the movie a long time ago, though.
When I thought up the idea, I was just trying to find something that would be interesting to add to the world of Minecraft, but would not feel too out of place for it's fantasy setting. I didn't intend to rip anything off, just so you know.
But I'm guessing you don't like the idea a whole lot, huh?

You can get them easily by mining. No thanks, they don't really add anything into the game.
Well, thank goodness. It would have sucked if someone else thought about it before me.
Also, thanks. Nice to know that at least someone likes it.
Not what I had in mind, but that is an interesting idea.
Funny.. A guy was talking about adding oil to the game awhile ago last time I checked this site.
Your new too.
So am I.
Oh poo, than that means I am not the first.
BAAWW.
Oh well...
Not even fear factor?

Fear factor? We've got that from the other hostile mobs. If you really want to get scared, go into the nether on hard.
O...K then. I'll remember that.
And I'll be sure to avoid that. I get scared enough as it is from running around the dark on peaceful mode.
