I was thinking maybe when it rains, it could flood a little bit.raise the water level. Rain= 1 block. thunderstorms= 2-3 blocks. It would stay flooded for maybe 5-10 min after rain. And sometimes it wont even flood. also little ponds wont get flooded.
here is a little picture maybe of how it could happen. = sand.(sea level) = water = grass or dirt.(1 block above sea level)
Before rain: / After rain: / / / /
I think it would be a cool idea to add to the game.
I do agree after a long rain the water levels in oceans, lakes, ponds, etc should rise and move in more for a short time, but flooding everywhere might cause problems. Ive seem many people say no to flooding on their amazing houses because it would ruin them in one way or another. This is why I think for inland floods, there should only be a "cover block," of water, like snow, which is thin and doesn't affect movement but still shows flooding.

Other than that spelling error, its a solid idea
agree with both people.
