How about a better AI coding for mobs? Like they would analyze the environment like the player.
For example:
*A pig knowing there's a cliff high enough for fall damage in front of it, it would simply avoid it and turn back
*When a cow is floating on water, it would immediately seek out for land
*A sheep finds itself on an enclosed area, it would try to look for an opening big enough for it
*A zombie chasing the player and finds a cactus in front of it, it would go around it
*A skeleton does not shoot until it finds the appropriate range to do so
*A squid sees the player and will try to get away.
*A zombie will try to avoid arrow shots from the player
This will make Minecraft's animals even smarter. As for monsters, their intelligence will be based on difficulty. If:
EASY = dumb
NORMAL = smart
HARD = very smart
Already suggested and the original is on the first page.

I am just a guy looking for good suggestions that are original, creative, and match the theme of Mine-craft. I have some mob ideas that I need help forming which is a community project.
I know you said this thread is closed, but I'm just saying that pigs do avoid high cliffs, skeletons will only shoot in range, and in my experience, whenever I have animals enclosed in a pen they cant escape from, if I make an opening one usually tries to get out.

I hope you really like my idea.
