The search feature is down, and searching Google returned a pixel-ton of old issues with how the stairs didn't used to place properly. They do now, yay.
I was wondering if when looking at a block, if when you're targeting the lower-half of it the stairs would place normally, but when targeting the top-half they could be flipped upside down. This would allow us to build supported over-hanging structures that looked better than just having oddly spaced blocks.
You need to use google and search extensively. The search may be down, but not google. WELCOME TO THE FORUMS! Also, this HAS been suggested before, so can just PM me and delet this thread?

I am just a guy looking for good suggestions that are original, creative, and match the theme of Mine-craft. I have some mob ideas that I need help forming which is a community project.
Dang... Did you check Kira's stickied thread at the top of the suggestions on already posted ideas?
