i think there should be a dogsled to get around on ice quicker, you could use three (3) iron ingots along the bottom row and four (4) blocks of wooden planks in a sideways L shape to create a sled and use string to attach it to wolves,
probably the amount of wolves you have will affect the speed
i absolutely love this... i dont even want horses anymore... but i got a few questions for you...
1) how does it handle hills and changes in terrain?
2) what happens when you take it off of the snow and ice? even in winter biomes you will fine places where the snow has been removed/shoveled... and many winter biomes have "patches" where snow does not appear, in the spaces between snowy chunks.
3) assuming it doesn't move when you take it off of the snow/ice... how will you get it BACK onto snow/ice without dismantling it and rebuilting it?
4) what happens if your crossing some ice and you pull a "jack london"? and if you dont know what this means then ill insist you have no right to speak of dogsleds, and ill have you flogged >.<

This game has lost its balls. Please introduce a harder difficulty setting.
1) how does it handle hills and changes in terrain?
my idea would be that it can go up and down hills to a degree, as in not up mountains just slight hills.
2) what happens when you take it off of the snow and ice? even in winter biomes you will fine places where the snow has been removed/shoveled... and many winter biomes have "patches" where snow does not appear, in the spaces between snowy chunks.
it wouldn't completely stop if you hit patches but would gradually slow down, and if it was on a biome without snow and ice it would be a lot slower but could still run.
4) what happens if your crossing some ice and you pull a "jack london"?
sorry but i'm not sure what a "jack london"is,im not a dogsled expert just someone with ideas :biggrin.gif:
