So, I often find myself placing a chest, unloading my valuables, then find out that I didn't want that chest there after all, then have to go through a big hassle of loading my inventory again, destroy the chest and place it again (Which is quite annoying. At least to me)
Holy crap, this is a very similar idea to what I had in my head.... That means I support it fully!
Mostly as a pushable block, because there needs to be a dynamic pushable block in the game, which could really be a big addition to adventure maps, their makers (block pushing puzzles, new traps?, etc.).
I like this idea. But these crates will be a bit annoying moving them upstairs or if they fall down a ravine.
Question: Will we be able to put the crates in mine carts?
good idea but keep it updated so it won't get smothered by the stupid suggestions

I'm going to mash signature stuff together: I tested 100% positive for MC addiction, I'm a black knight, support crappy trees, my color is red, and microsoft destroys to a cactus.
How about if it falls over 5 blocks it would smash open? Just for a little realism and so, for example: Your friends in a strip mine with a solid
drop outside your house. He's starving. You drop a PORK CRATE (patent pending) for him to sate his hunger on.
In my opinion, why not make it so you can get a crate and put it in a minecart? Crate + Minecart = Minecart with Crate. And why not also allow the ability to make locks on it. Same with chests. So you can then just ship them off to your friends. And when you break the minecart with crate, it will drop the minecart and the crate and any items in it. (Also drops a lock if lock has been placed on the crate before put into a minecart)
I think that items should be able to go in the crate when they touch the crate
This way we can have vending machines that work perfectly with dispencers droping an item into the box
and then piston pushes the box to the customer!
I think it's a good idea. Although I myself wouldn't use it much, I never throw ANYTHING away, so I end up with multiple chests full of junk I don't need.
It'd be nice to be able to have a room full of crates and then just move them around easily as I need to. Also, since they'd be able to be pushed around they could be used in puzzle maps (someone puts a crate down and you have to push it somewhere to do something etc).
That. That annoys me. I support.
Great idea.

I give this my full support.

Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
Please click the dragons, they need to grow. Also, my fully grown dragons can be found in my bio.
