Instead of only being able to sleep during the night you should be able to sleep during the day.
it would be much easier to kill these guys without waiting for night to come->
and get away from these ones ->
Above poster does know that you have to wait before mobs spawn at night, right?
There will always be ways to abuse beds. Someone made a fantastic (albeit wearing) grinder involving sleeping in a bed, having a mob spawn, suffocate, rinse, repeat.

It takes half a minute for the first to show, but players who run through the night will attest that the large no-spawn zone around the player keeps things limited until sufficient mobs generate on surrounding chunks to descend upon you like locusts.

For me, it takes me seconds to encounter a mob if i'm on the move.
it takes alot longer if i'm not on the move.
However, i said mobs spawn almost instantly, not attack you.

I find that interesting, because pressing F3 on any difficulty (not peaceful, derp) flags no mobs in my vicinity for at least half a minute, and it's only until I wander into some areas about that distance ahead of me that Mr. Creeper shows up and violently blows a hole in my face.
yes but most people are ON THE MOVE at night so it's easier to encounter them right away. Only creeper huggers stand around at night waiting for mobs to spawn.

Night time.
Sleep for daytime.
Wait untill mobs burn to death.
Loot the ground.
Sleep for night time.
Repeat.
No, that would make it even easier to get arrows/bones/feathers.

I'm sorry, do you play on peacefull?
Mobs spawn almost instantly when it turns night.

Why would you really want to sleep until night? There really isn't much to do at night, other than get raped by creepers.
