I'm playing minecraft and it's raining right? But... it's raining on the snow in some areas. So what if that made an ice block after a certain period of time?
is there a physical reason why snow should turn to ice with more water?
i mean, snow just turns to slush if you add water.
and i think there is a moulacular structure difference between snow and ice.
so, in conclusion: IMO no.

Well... slush would be a whole new thing Notch would need to code... and I see no use for it. Making it a block makes some sense, and it's a lot easier to add in.

i meant slush as in there is no reason why snow would turn to ice even if you add water.

I'm not using INVedit... the rain just happened to go onto the snow.
