First off, it's not going to force you to have your server on the list. It will have inside of the data file "private=". If true, it will hide your server from the list.
So, starting off, the list would be accessible by clicking "Multiplayer", it will just have a thing at the bottom that says "Connect to direct IP", that's where you put IP addresses in.
So, the list displays every active server, and you can filter through the list by Name, Ping, Server Category (You can name your server's category in the data file. The categories are listed alphabetically) and the name of the person who is hosting the server.
You click on the server, and hit join. It will then prompt a window that says "Loading server, please wait", so you know that the game doesn't freeze.
Once ingame, you can hit F7 and it will show you the current open servers so you don't have to leave to check servers.
Good idea?
