This is a suggestion to change the forums, not Minecraft. I, along with many other users, have been constantly having to deal with noobs who haven't learned how to use the forums yet (No offense, but if you don't know the rules, don't post!). I think there should be two forums for suggestions. One for users who know how to contribute, and the other for new users or constantly disruptive users. What do you think about this?
I think the site admins could make it so noobs can't go on the useful one. And I think an automatic system, where a user can move up after x posts, would work, and if the user is disruptive, they would be banned.
And when the noob got to the useful forum, it would be clear that they were a noob, resulting in a ban. I don't think invite only is good, because there's no way for people to watch the lower forum and invite every deserving person.
Don't tell me that you wouldn't like a noob-free forum. And this is taking people who troll/say stupid things/noobs and putting them in a place where they can learn how to become a useful, contributing, respected forum member without annoying those who already are. I hate having to constantly tell noobs that their topic has been suggested 5 million times (it's over 9000!).
I would also like to see new ideas, and this does not seem to be a suggestion that would be very effective . Honestly, you can go to user CP and and arrange posts from most viewed or most posts. Having a sub-forum of members that think they're all awesome would probably result in fail and self-congratulations over time.
I want a forum without repeated suggestions, and well thought-out suggestions, but this solution doesn't cut it, and bumps out fresh people or uncharismatic people with good ideas
edit: again, I think the Get Satisfaction system is excellent for much of this problem
This wouldn't be a sub-forum of "elite" members. The vast majority of members would be in the "useful" forums. This would be keeping all of the noobs and idiots in one subforum while they learn what to do (or not). They would be able to get into the "useful" forum after a while.
Personally, I would split the forums into different categories of suggestions: tools, weapons, vehicles, blocks, mobs, and whatever else is needed. In order to make a new thread in any of these forums, one must have made a minimum of 100 replies within these suggestions forums (other forums not included in this count), and then every 20 replies afterwards would gain you a new thread to post. If a thread you made got deleted or locked because you didn't follow the posting rules, too bad!
Really, we just need some dedicated moderators, instead of random dudes who spontaneously show up and lock tons of threads within a few minutes and then just leave for days.

Don't pick your nose with a pickaxe. Use a shovel.
How would we stop noobs from getting on the other forum, and how would we know when someone is ready to acess the other forum?
Why, a "i am n00b" button on the register screen, of course. Or a button entitled "Don't not fail to click this if you can't not understand that you are not a n00b".

Nothing a little dynamite could not fix
this would be a really good idea but im not sure if they could do it.
X posts would not work, because if i was a noob id just go to another thread and post there allot
