I would hate to see all of my buildings in the tundra have snow all over them after the 1.5 update. I've spent 6 months working on a city in the tundra and would be a little upset if every 3 minutes it snowed all over the roofs and ground.
If there could be a toggle to turn weather on and off (It may even increase performance for many people) That would be great! I like the idea of weather, but it would be pretty annoying...
Well, it seems that you'll need to hire a few kids from next door to shovel snow for you :smile.gif:.
To be serious, I don't think it will snow that often, the video was probably taken on a testing version of Minecraft in which it rains and snows almost always.

why the **** would you build something in the tundra if you don't like snow on them?
Most people KNEW notch was adding weather in the future, so why complain that something you built in a SNOWY biome will get SNOW on it. Its like swimming in lava and complaining that it burns you, or swimming in water and complaining that it gets you wet.

Not sure if it is possible, though, so I guess this is okay.
As in melting? Yeah, that would be another good idea. I'm all up for that.
Yer happy?
