Hey, I love Minecraft as much as the next guy (assuming the next guy plays Minecraft 2-3 hours daily and refers to his base as "home") but decreasing the player's speed so much while moving in a current of water is just flat out annoying, there are even moments when you don't make any progress whatsoever. This is specially irksome when in a cave and you're mining some diamonds and theres a water current below and just as you break the ore block, the diamond falls in the current and is being dragged into a lava lake nearby and you can't do anything about it cause you can't move. Even worse than this is you being dragged slowly to your fiery doom by the water current.
What bug are you talking about? I'm not being an "arrogant ass", i'm saying that water is supposed to have those properties, so it can be used for things aside from just existing.
You try moving in water in reality, and see how hard it is... water is very strategic... you just have bad luck/bad skills
Yeah, cause when I walk outside at night I totally gotta keep an eye out for zombies, giant spiders, archer skeletons and giant green exploding penises that are out to get my ass. And it's also completely normal to have some lava in an iron bucket. AND I suppose you can TOTALLY punch through trees, right?

I haven't really noticed that at all...
