Now that pistons might be added i think gears should be brought back to the game to sorta add to the industrial minecraft revolution
but instead of them spinning without power they should work different they should have something power them like a motor powered by Redstone or a turbine powered by water or possibly wind
its very rough so if you have any ideas about this write the down

But why? What would they do that redstone on its own can't?
they could move/spin things while redstone could power things
I don't think they really have a purpose to serve.
I can think of a few, but I want to see what pistons do first and how they work exactly before I suggest anything. I mean, it would be really nice if one could create a genuine conveyor belt system without having to use tons of water or something like that. But anyway, we shall see . . .
