I think it would be good if mossy cobblestone was less rare. However, I don't want it being found everywhere, so I came up with this idea: If cobblestone is surrounded by water on all sides for at least three blocks for at least 3 minecraft days, it becomes mossy cobblestone. This allows you to place cobblestone underwater, making it farmable, and reducing its value. Let me know what you think, thanks.
NOOOOO! I love mossy stone how it is! Its rare special and awesome! I love collecting it, and its my favorite block because of its rareness!.Please don't take that away from me.
Sounds cool, but I think it would be best if it worked more like grass growing on dirt. A "blank" block of grass will grow grass after some time depending on how close it is to other dirt blocks that have grass. Moss should be able to spread from placing regular cobblestone next to either mossy cobblestone or grassy dirt, while NOT allowing plain dirt next to mossy cobblestone to grow grass (to prevent passive mobs from spawning in a quarantined area of dirt).

Don't pick your nose with a pickaxe. Use a shovel.
sorry guys the clay block is rarest, you can see at the clay is superflous thread.
That has NOTHING to do with this. He didn't say mossy cobble was the rarest. He didn't even mention clay. No one did. What are you smoking?
I support this because I love mossy cobblestone as a building material but it's hard to get enough to actually build anything. Plus, it's still annoying to get, just less annoying. So, +1.
