yes i forgot to search which i should have of, but i looked at the other topic and it was using solid redstone blocks as conducters and they also do damage instead of taking the place of torches. not sure what to do in this spot.
If you take a look at my Redstone 5 topic, I suggested the redstone block be a PATH instead of a power source. Since, the mechanics of a redstone torch is more alchemical, a reaction between the metal and the redstone to create a power source. A solid block lacks that.
I think a Solid Redstone block would be more useful as a circuit path which can be placed underground and underwater then a power source, allowing for a more clean circuitry hidden as walls for those who take the time to get the dust.

If you stack a Desert Temple on the top of a Jungle Temple which is on the top of two churches you get a megazord

how it will work
first you need to craft a redstone block which is all spaces filled with redstone dust.
properties:it will normally produce a output of charge like a torch and will turn off when power is given to it
this means that one block can replace these things (logic gates?)
now:
it will do the exact same thing but take up less space and be more aesthetically pleasing instead of having torches and jutting blocks everywhere
also this does not replace torches since a stick and one dust is good enough to power a door while this can be used for more complex contraptions
leave some feedback please, i hope to have pictures up soon!
