Purpose: to keep active all blocks within a 300 block radius as if the player was present, even if the player is in fact not. this would allow larger scale red stone circuitry to be implemented and red stone displays to be viewed from a distance without worrying about clipping the end of monster circuits from a distance
implementation: brain in a jar would be placed in the center of the desired area required to stay active. it must then be fed food in the form of wheat and will shut down when it runs out. it would work on a full stack of wheat for approximately [insert number here] quarters of an hour
