One thing I have noticed when playing Minecraft is that fall damage is the same on all types of blocks. I think when you fall should get a differaint amount of damage depending on what type of block you land on.
The list could be simplified by things which are gathered by shovels dealing half the damage of things that require pickaxes. And then make wool 1/3 of the pick axe materials.
Ignore him, I don't care about posting the same idea as long as its not the exact same. On topic: This would be great for base-jumpers, who want to get less fall damage.
