This is a pretty simple idea:
You pour milk into an area that is 1 deep and however long and wide you want (but making sure its stagnant), then wait an x amount of minecraft days, and there you go, a harvestable cheese block!
Optional: make cheese craftable into 4 cheese slices(these would restore 1 heart), then allow for crafting into a ham and cheese sandwhich, which would be made like this (imagine the gold ingot is a cheese slice, creeper face is bread):
this would restore 5 hearts or so
YES. We dont have enough food items, and I would love to be able to place milk.(Pool of mysterious white liquid, anybody?) Also, we need cheese. People have been making cheese for hundreds of years. Perhaps you could make special types of cheese, like placing a next to a stagnant milk block would make blue cheese? Also, with that pool of milk i mentioned(Yes, it was milk, what else would it be you sicko?) you could make a huge pool of cheese. Also you could even mold cheese houses! This is a brilliant idea. I give it a
Why didn't you make an option for Disagree? Because I do. How about this:
Let's say water stands for milk and Glass for ice. I was thinking something like this:
Would make iced milk. Now, when you put it solo on a work bench, you would get 4 pieces of pasteurized milk, or [] . Now, when you add some item (you think of it), it'll make CHEESE!
Hmmm. Sounds kinda cool. Though then milk physics would need to be implemented. What about placing a bowl of milk? So you craft:
Iron is a bucket of milk, Orange is the bowl. You keep the bucket, though it becomes empty in the crafting process. The bowl disappears. And finally, you get a bowl of milk as a finished product. You place the the bowl of milk, and then it eventually becomes a plate of cheese.

And you can't place milk anyways.

Solution in this post.
I see what you did there.
