Just came to mind that on occasion players get 'to much stuff to know what to do with' so i thought how can players make use of this and still be able to play the game?
I considered making a shop but then I'd have to manage the shop and probably find some other people to help manage it....not gonna happen.
So then I thought about it a bit...looked at mods saw the word 'NPC' and it hit me. What if players could have an NPC stationed wherever they like that they could use to trade their items for other items. That would be great except some problems arise. What if the NPC is only able to be used for one player, that would mean that there would be this little invisible spot that noone else could tread on so that ruined that idea.
Thought some more, what if NPC trading stations were placed strategically by Administrators or able to be built using various supplies.(perhaps wood or any other material for the outer edges of the 3x3 crafting table. Basic empty stand made. Then making another recipe such as the NPC...idk maybe 3 pieces of meat for a man/NPC that can only be used as a recipe ingredient for NPC trading. Then with your NPC and empty stand place them in the crafting table with torches filling in the other spaces ...
|T|T|T|. T=torch. N=npc(made from meat) s= stand (made from wood or any othr material used for buildi g)
|T|N|T|
|T |s|T|
Okay so its made and can be placed and made by any player after a three step process, if you include making torches then it's four. The torches btw will provide the finisbed peoduct to have a light emmenate from it.
Problems with NPC could be some players may greatly dislike having these thinking that it may allow other players and advantage over themselves for getting materials. As a solution to this why not make the trading rates high so that the same amount of time as it takes to say mine 2 stacks of cobblestone would be the equivilent of getting one gold piece, 1 stack of cobble = 1 iron ore or 4 stacks of cobble = 1 stack of stone. A complex tradi g system could be created allowing for a more in depth gameplay IF PLAYERS WANT IT. IF THEY DO NOT THEY SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE TO USE THEM.
Anyways thats my idea of a way to get rid of your materials faster.
Please provide comments and feel free to add suggestions.

They could be like a dungeon find or something.
