don't you hate when you're using redstone for secret doors & you're own story of a "great escape" & the redstone just won't cooparate with you since the blocks aren't close enough? well you can fix it with... the conducter block! What it does is when you place it 1 block away from red stone to your door will activate it no matter how far away! as long as the conducter block is one block from the door & one from the redstone it will activate the thing you want activated.
shape: iron bar in shape of square & redstone in the middle.
p.s i don't know about you but my thing always won't work when i try to make an underground system to open a door.
I'm not sure i undertand you suggestion, could you re-format it please?
ok, sorry. what a meant is when ever you cover up red stone or is not atleast one block away from the door it wont work right? but with a conducter block the redstone will flow through the block(s) to the door so you can make your redstone deep underground & just build the conducter block to your door.
Your original post is written rather poorly making it very hard to really understand the suggestion.
If I understand it correctly then the better solution to this problem is that you read up on redstone and watch some tutorial videos rather than adding a new seemingly unneeded block.

I'm still looking for more feedback on my configurable Redstone Gate mod. All gates and common circuits (such as e.g. clocks, edge detectors, latches and Flip-Flops) in a single block.
I see where your going with this, but it won't look nice athstentcally. Now if there was an item that would be placed on the side of a block that would do this, it would work out better.
