Someone recently posted on one of my suggestions saying that I should think about what I'm posting before I post it, and maybe think of things that can make Minecraft more useful, rather than dumb and stupid. I took this into consideration and I want to know what you think of my new ideas. I have thought them through and I will put a brief description about them next to their name.
Ideas:
-Enemy Radar: Well, as most of you know, it's hard to know exactly where enemies are. I thought this would be a good idea as it would help you by showing you were mobs were. Enemies (Creepers, skeletons, zombies, etc.) would appear red. Animals (Cows, sheep, pigs, etc.) would appear yellow. Other players would appear green. This would most likely help you in cases like, oh, I don't know, it was dark and you wanted to find a way back to your shelter without getting eaten.
-Note In A Bottle: This is just a small thought, but what if you wanted to go treasure hunting? This would be an extremely rare item that could only be found on beaches. It floats in water and contains a small map. This isn't an item that needs you to know where everything is in the world, mostly because the worlds that are created are so big, it's almost like it goes on forever, so this small map only shows you a limited area. This is for people that want to find treasure, so you don't have to do it. Though, if you pick it up, you could give it to someone else for something for them to do. These maps lead you to dungeons, because everyone knows that you find treasure in dungeons.
-Backpack: In Minecraft you only have a limited inventory. You can carry chests, but then you have to keep dropping them, opening them, and then smashing them until they go back into your inventory. This can waste precious time. So, how about a backpack? It works like a chest but is much easier to access. When you place it in your scroll bar, you can access it by clicking on it. This opens up an inventory about the size of a small chest. This allows you to quickly access items and have a bigger inventory. Though, I think we should limit it to you can only have one backpack on at a time, otherwise it would look kinda silly. Oh, the other thing is that it appears on your back, you you can look even more stylish.
2. Maybe...Edit: Leads to dungeons? Nah. I'd rather it be used on adventure maps and such.
3. Render the backpack unable to contain more backpacks, limit it to one per inventory, and cut the size to half a single-chest. Also, I don't want to see it on my back, make that a toggle.

If this thread were a girlfriend, it'd do everything but anal.
This may not be the best idea but atleast you thought this one out. Keep thinking about this and before you know it one of your ideas will be a update!
What you should really do is read the stickies and use the search, and also consider whether or not you would want to read this if someone else had posted it.
I do like the note in a bottle idea though, it adds a lot of flavor.

The second one is just silly.
And the last one has been over-suggested. Only Grey Acumen's is worth putting in.
