these items are created to kill zombies that walk into them. also, zombies will get a 'threat' feeling, and will start destroying any blocks made by you that are within 20 blocks. oops, i mean creepers do that. this way they will attack youre base. also, the spiked barricades will, as i said earlier, kill zombies, allowing you to defend youre base, and create traps. please reply.
um, just wondering... how does that make more sense?
and you have to make 1 for every block...
and its not an instant kill, if you thought that it did..

I don't think that this should be put in anyways. Why? I'd rather say, Why should it be put in? You can easily make moats, out of water or lava. Or even just pits, where the zombies, and other mobs, fall in, and can't get to you. Why bother with such a thing?
Also, Cacti. Learn how to get them, learn how to grow them, and learn how to make a "barbed wire fence" out of cacti.
