Most of these suggestions i found were on a thread in a different forum so i thought they would do better over on this forum where they have a better chance of being seen by someone who could implement them.
1. More Weapons
Simply because running about with just a sword or bow ain't enough,
I wanna see maces, staves, daggers, crossbows, battle axes, whips, claws etc etc.
-and the weapons differences isnt just with looks
2. More Furniture
I'm sick of standing on steps for chairs, I want a nice, relaxing sofa, and prehaps customizable
beds too instead of the nice cuddely looking thing, hell I'd wanna make everything from a stool
to a throne in terms of seating.
3. Beverages
You can count milk if you really want, but I'm talking about brewing ale from hops,
making potions (Fumblemores Cure-It-All anyone?), drinkable water etc etc.
4. More Transport
Minecarts and TINY Boats...It's not enough! We'll be getting dragons soon which is pretty awesome but
I want large, working ships, airships, pigs/spiders you can control.
7. More Allied Mobs
Sure we can have Wolves on our side, but I want a ranged NPC to guard our towns, some kind of healing
NPC, a resource carrying NPC etc etc.
8. World Events (All optional)
A bit like the rifts in Rift or the Oblivion Gates in Oblivion, just somthing that happens at random
and needs to be delt with.
-Maybe just natural random events like lightning(where it strikes it sets ablaze), hurricanes, etc...
9. Server List
An In-Game server list, along with favourite server options, filtering etc etc. A bit like the servers
Valve games use.
10. A Reason To Go Underwater
Squids is about all we've got right now, I want certain minerals you can only find on the seabed, more
valuable sea mobs, and water-specific blocks to build underwater.
11. Disguises For Blocks
As has been mentioned, trap doors would be great but also a way to hide them by making them look like
the block they're on, the same could be applied to pressure pads and doors.
-For trap doors, how about they act lke regular doors except they 1x1, flat, and can only be placed on
the ground. And if you want them to act like trap doors you can just stick a pressure pad on top of them
that blends in with the surrounds while on top of the door.
And I was thinking seasons that are the same as what the user is experiencing in their
part of the world would be cool. But I think id also want it to be optional. Because in Winter trees
and plants wouldnt grow so you wouldnt be able to gather wood unless you had a green house.
I think seasons would give you something to aim for rather than just to build a shelter before the first
night. You would have to collect the nessecary resources to survive the winter. And imagine if there were
yetis that came during the winter. Stronger and faster than any current mob.
DAMN IT! I want to see Yeti's in the game now
Also blizzards that reduce vizibility. Then it would just be a lot harder to defend against the
yeti's. And itd be cool to sit inside your house in a proper chair looking out at a blizzard with
a nice warm cup of ... warm, drinking.. liquid...
•vehicles beyond minecarts
-a minimap would be nice as well as an overall map of the area you've traversed.
-a way to create farms for animals (like pigs, cows, sheep, etc...)
-more mechanical things (like drawbridges or elevators using maybe a rope pulley
system)oh and floodgates (without the mod)
-more flying and swimming mobs
•readable books (Adventure maps with the "notes" actually being...well...notes, in game)
Also the feature to write in books is pretty self-intended. Inksack, Feather, (maybe) flint, = quill.
Much better than reading notes from a folder for adventure maps.
Owls. I was just thinking today owls have a creepy feeling to how they sound. If you were just wandering around topside and cant hear or see anything and then you hear an owl... O_O
A holdable lantern. This would be a good for lanterns when ever if ever they get into the game. If your holding it, then its held about head height and if you palce it it just hangs on a wall. Also hangable from ceilings.
-also an anvil to repair equipment would be nice.
Make only 1 topic per thread. This is not a complaint, but a suggestion. This helps improve your ideas as you give each topic the detail it so rightly deserves.
The way this looks right now appears to be more of a wish-list and leads to enormous complications when it comes to others actually trying to improve your various suggestions and you, the op, keeping up.
Welcome to the suggestion forum! We hope you have a pleasant stay here.
Welcome to the forums, by the way. I'll be your brutally honest dream-crushing critic for...Well, your entire stay. So make your ideas good ones. [Diamond]

Thanks for the welcome and the suggestion. Ill try my best to keep up then.
Follow the steps below for a successful thread in the Suggestions forum:
0) Search & Organization
SEARCH! If the forum search is down, use Google. ("site:minecraftforum.net [search words here]") Nobody likes duplicate threads. Don't make wishlists or cram a bunch of one-sentence ideas in one thread. It's lousy organization and nobody is going to read it. Limit each thread to one well-developed concept. And if the suggestion can be summed up in any less than four or five sentences, it's more than likely not worth posting.
1) Observation
Take some time off posting. Spend a few weeks surfing the Suggestions forum. Offer feedback or help with other suggestions. See what suggestions generally get bad feedback and which get good feedback, then find out why. Do this until you've memorized it. And if you find megathreads on a certain topic, try to keep relevant suggestions limited to that one thread.
2) Brainstorm
Then, and only then, start thinking. Think of a suggestion that can:
A) Serve aesthetic or decorative purpose.
:cool.gif: Serve a practical, useful, or otherwise gameplay-oriented purpose.
C) Is interesting or unique in its implementation while being well-balanced.
D) Is unique enough from other similar/duplicate ideas to make it worthwhile.
E) Isn't overly realistic, while still avoiding being totally ridiculous.
3) Flesh it out
Look it over. Add details. Magic ****in word. Details, details, DETAILS. Crafting recipes, effects, uses, images if you can manage them.
4) Revise and improve
Think of any possible flaws. Any you can fix, fix before posting. If any flaws are significant enough to make the concept fail, start over.
6) Make it easy to read
Punctuation, the best grammar and spelling you have, paragraphs, proper spacing. Hell, even numbered lists will do! Learn formatting.
7) Create the thread
If and ONLY IF you get past all that, post the suggestion.
Well, at least im serving as a good example of what not to do. It'll take a while but i'll go over each idea, search them up, give them there own threads (if they arnt already in the forums and are sufficently different), and add details.

Good job. Most would sob and whine that they were being trolled. +5 respect (2 for not posting this while Out of the Water)
Sorry that i dont understand, but what does that mean?

See those words that say Tree Puncher by your name? That changes as your post count goes up. The lowest post counts result in the titles "Newly Spawned" and "Out of the Water". People bearing these titles inevitably have terrible ideas because they just signed up that same day to suggest some garbage they think is unique and so awesome when it isn't, and took no time at all to think any of it through. Then they usually cry when criticized about it and call everybody trolls. I dislike those people.
Tree Punchers often do this too but it's not as bad with them. :tongue.gif:
