Has anyone thought about some type of wifi cube that allows signals to go from one block to another from a distance? I thought this would be a great Idea. And also a nice alternative to stacking redstone torches and blocks!
Idea on how this would work:
You create the wifi block, place it, right click it, type in a number/id for it, create another block and place it wherever, and make the id the same as the first wifi block.
Prolly not the best idea on the planet but hey, it came off the top of my head!
I have been thinking about Wifi alot, but you need to be more specific, how is the wifi cube crafted? Do you mean to say that you must put two wifi cubes apart distances for it to connect? Most improtantly, the purpose? Well, I think I have a recipe:
= Redstone
Or something like that. Maybe you can connect one wifi cube, while the other person far away sets another wifi cube, then you can teleport to each other, although admin commands in SMP already have commands like that. I don't know about this suggestion, really. But it's interesting.
Like say you craft two of these "wifi cubes" but after crafting two of them you want two more, but at the same time you don't want the two you just crafted to interact with the first two. You could right click each cube type in whatever numbers you want, and have two of the cubes share the same id number while the others share a different number.
then when activated, instead of having a long line of redstone and boosters you could have the redstone travel from one "wifi cube" to another (but these two cubes must share the same id number).

If you like waffles, then you must like turtles.

And have it crafted something like this?
Mostly moved on. May check back a few times a year.
