For Starters, I havent made a server yet, so I dont know how it works, please correct me if im wrong, but dont say it like "****ing retard wai you even play minecraft"
I just made A world in single player that I would love to have friends in. Now I dunno How a SMP server works, but It would be awsome If I could somehow convert my Single Player world into a SMP server, or somehow Let my friends into said world.
If you go into your saves from the single player and copy the folder of the world, then paste it into the folder of the multiplayer server, from there you just have to change the server notepad file to run the world you copied over.
That probably sounds really confusing because you haven't started a multiplayer server yet :/ sorry about that. Make a multiplayer server first, and get it running. From there, everything I said probably will make more sense.
And in case you don't know, the single player saves can be found in the .minecraft folder which can be found by loading up RUN (Windows) and running "%appdata%".
I don't know where they are on other OS.
