Personally, I think the snow and ice biomes are some of the most boring biomes to explore. I often find myself avoiding them because there's hardly anything in terms of structures, mobs, loot... and general life.
I love how all the forest biomes are looking in the newest snapshots, especially with the fallen leaves and new mob variants! This will also add something to the colder biomes. However, new textures can't really fix the underlying issue:
Going into snowy biomes just isn't worth the wandering, the deep snow, and the lack of resources to be found.
What does everyone else think about the cold biomes?
It'd be super sick to see a total revamp, even if there is currently anything, I feel like it's pretty much not worth it. I've already had enough bad experiences with powdered snow too, which sucks ass too.

Completely agree. Also, I don't like my house being snowed on.

maybe under the snow/ice you could find sniffer eggs a bit like real life when things get preserved in snow/ice.
