If u look at the pick curenttly, it has a little bit of wood on the top of it, which doesn't make sense, cuz we only use wood on the bottem. So, to fix this, I perpose we have a larger crafting table made like this
in the crafting table. Once u have that, you hafe to craft a wood speck. Like this
after that yu need to made curved metal in the new craft table, so u can have a pickax

now u can make a pick. with the new craft becnch, do this:
[>>-i>] is the wood spek

i think this crafting maeks more sense in realistic terms
One, check your English. Two, green exploding monsters aren't realistic, and neither is being able to break stone with a flower. Minecraft isn't supposed to be realistic. The way you propose to make a pick is too complicated, as realism isn't a very good argument when it comes to Minecraft, and think about it this way. If you were a noob that just bought Minecraft, how would you feel if you had to do this much to get one of the most basic tools in the game (like said above).

1. Why is the final step double wide?
2. With this it takes 12 sticks and 8 iron to make a pick. In addition to the 16 planks for the upgraded crafting table which has no purpose other than to make this.
3. Would this be for all teirs, because otherwise how are you going to get the iron to make this?
If u look at the pick [currently], it has a little bit of wood on the top of it, which doesn't make sense, [because] we only use wood on the [bottom]. So, to fix this, I [propose] we have a larger crafting table made like this
This is the reason given to us for this thread.
This reason is invalidated the moment you realize the appearance of the pick is whatever the player wants it to be.

Incompetence is a plague. I am the cure.
For all your wolf suggestion needs, I present the WOLF MEGATHREAD!
Stories: A Miner's Chronicle, The Lost Chronicle [Entries 32-2, 33-1, and 33-2 out!]
You say 2 because it is shorter than to. I say NO because it is shorter than yes
PS: Welcome to the forums
Thread invalidated.
=P You just made me LOL for some reason
No reason needs to be explained.
No to increasing the size of the crafting table; or creating a crafting table with more crafting squares; a 3x3 is good enough.
