One of the worst things in this game is villagers who provide cursed hardware or books. Of what use is a cursed item to any player?
Get rid of all curses from books (librarians) and armorsmiths (in the so-called trade rebalance). There is no excuse for having them available that way. I can sort of understand having them as treasure items (which makes them junk), but from a villager that one spends resources to promote? It's absolutely asinine that they even exist.

I agree, you can get them from fishing so i dont understand why they even exist in the first place.
And they're totally useless. One can't even disenchant them and have something useful to play with. They're absolute garbage. I don't think they should even exist at all in the game, but to have them as villager trades is just moronic. Worse, savanna armorsmiths ONLY have cursed items. It makes me want to AVOID savanna villages.
Probably. But what other player would be stupid enough to actually don cursed armor?
All they really are is a way to remove a treasure item from the game before the player even sees it.
I mean, even if they just add a way to disenchant cursed armor, at least they would be useful. But who in their right mind will EVER make a savanna armorsmith?
I think those are meant to be traps for other players...how nasty. xD
That's kind of a doofy way to add traps. "See this item here that will ruin your day once you put it on/use it? Go ahead, please buy it!" Any player with 1/100th of the concept of thought will avoid that, unless they want to purposely ruin their experience for masochist-gamer reasons.
