This thread is a suggestion for the Minecraft Forums not Minecraft if I'm in the wrong place I appologise.
Increase the character limit for the signiture. Or atleast have the adress in a [URL=] tag not count toward the limit. Seriously, those things take up a lot of characters, and are widely used by people to advertise their suggestions or simply ones that they like. If storage space is an issue for whoever is running the forums, then that is an exceptible reason not to. However, if it could be done it would be nice.

Use something like TinyURL. If you still run out of room, you've got too much in your sig.

I'm almost 100% positive that this have been suggested before but i'll suggest it again anyways
Each of the individual characters seems to count towards your limit (whether they are BB code or not.)
counts as 10 characters, I think.
Oddly, using quotes seems to count as quite a few characters. I'd been told that I was using too many characters, so I switched my quotation marks for double apostrophys and it said it was fine.

What is TinyURL?
It's a url shortener. I'd suggest doc.gg though, it creates even shorter ones.
Example: [url=http://doc.gg/rc]http://doc.gg/rc[/url] links this very thread (courtesy of a glorious ******* called DocSigma)
