Adding Mirror Blocks to the game would be kinda neat I think, It would by another way to look at the front of your character other than going into your innovatory.
possible crafting methods could be:
(i was thinking just glass and iron but other materials could work to)
I'm assuming it would be kinda complicated to implement into the game though, because they would have to account for how light bounces of mirrors and a bunch of other stuff. However I'm just guessing, it could be an easy patch I really don't know I'm no coder.
regardless of how easy it would be to code I still think its an interesting idea, what are your thoughts?
my character is the Superman Socks guy so yes, yes he his, but I'm sure thats not the only use for a mirror I mean I'm sure u could do some pretty cool reflecting things with it and make cool mazes and stuff for you and your friends on servers
it just a simple idea with a good amount of possibilities

Is your character really interesting enough to look at?

The next time an authority asks me, "What could possibly have given you such a lack of respect for the value of human life?" I will respond, "Sir, have you even BEEN to the internet?"

The fire implied. But that is not a lighthouse, that is a beacon. I was talking about focusing a beam of light to guide people somewhere from even farther away. Holy hell, maybe you could use mirrors, netherack and some sort of redstone magnifying glass thing to make a giant heat-ray that could turn sand into glass, cobble into smoothstone, and wood into flaming wood. Of course, you couldn't turn it or adjust it without tearing the whole thing up and putting it back down, so it wouldn't be TOO unbalanced. Wow, that was an insane idea, and should probably not be made, ever. Or...

I don't know sled teams but I do know I put my dog on an electric treadmill once and dangled a chicken leg. Treadmill puppy ensued.

Eh. There have been better threads about mirror that made them sound a lot more fun; usually bundled with light-sensing devices or placing them in different angles (like signs) or turning them without having to break and replace them...
In any case, mirrors always have potential; you just have to present it well enough to make it sound fun (I don't care what you all think; "rotating mirror" puzzles are fun), which, unfortunately, you have not.
Also: It's difficult to say how simple it would be to implement reflection. If it's relatively superficial (the only significant check made is for the angling of light beams), it'd probably be... Moderately challenging. Actually reflection of images... I can't say. Both? You'll not be getting both, sir; that's a given.
For my money, I'd prefer "superficial reflection." I really don't care about reflected images too much; the "benefit" in them is only in creating mind-tricks, which are quite limited by the capacity of people to distinguish reflections from tangible objects.

Are you always so pessimistic?
Yes, yes I am. A pessimist is always either right, or pleasantly surprised.
