I was thinking over and over about the addition of wolves, and I thought of an idea, what if there were flying hunters?
They should be trained in a similar manner to wolves. If you give them 3 then they will be tamed and follow you around too.
They could hunt , and maybe other mobs. If you add stuff like deer or rabbits, they would hunt those too. Maybe even smaller birds!
Right-clicking them will make a window pop up. It would show you the eagle's "status" and there would be options like hunt (hunts any passive mob within 24 blocks and collects their items for you,) protect (attacks any mob that attaks you, excluding creepers,)agressive (attacks any mob within 24 blocks, excluding creepers,) or passive (follows you around, lol) They can also be ordered to deliver items to set locations. Here's an example. = Player = Eagle = Set location. = Chest (Lol)
You tell your eagle to put these items into a chest. [] [] [] [] []
Then... [] [] [] [] []
Or to patrol a set location, maybe? [] [] []
You can also tell them to hunt without having to run around. The eagle would then fly away from you and become agressive towards passive mobs.
In multiplayer, you can have them attack other players (ONLY IN PVP!!!!) but they won't attack players wearing iron, gold or diamond armor. Only unprotected and players wearing leather armor.
Also, after every command/change to the eagle/eagle's mood, the player lets out a small whistle before the action is applied.
P.S. Notch, look at the suggestions for once!
