I'm building projects am new. And some of the things I need aren't in the game yet. Very limited door selections.im building a place called Mage Islands and my them is gemstone makes. There's only like 3 out of idk how many. Am just hoping we get more gems stone blocks and things so it's easier to create with. Sorry I'm new so still exploring the creativity. Nice game. But haven't barely touched what it needs. Not even sure how to make my own things yet with out PC or whatever. I'm only on xbox series s and phone right now.

To my taste door choice is okay - there's 6 types made of wood - from almost white birch to coffee-colored dark-oak, 2 types made of Nether fungi - one bright cyan and another one shady magenta - and also a white-gray iron door.
If you want something looking more impressive - use redstone-powered piston doors, sticky pistons can push/pull like 95% of all in-game materials.
By the way, I recommend not to make entire constructions out of rare minerals like gold, redstone, lapis, emeralds or diamonds simply because they oversaturate a structure to the point of ugliness.
Instead you can build stone towers and set up copper roofs (copper is arguably the most abundant ore and can be used for low-scale construction), and start off with birch, spruce or dark oak doors (which are completely nontransparent) and once developed well enough switch to Nether types, which have the strongest magical touch to them thanks to unnatural colors and irregular veins.
