lets say that obsidian is tough, but not hard. meaning that it is strong against explosions, but is weak against being bent, meaning obsidian tools are a bad idea, but obsidian blast armor seems like a perfect suggestion.
it would need to be smelted in a industrial furnace made like
iron ore = iron ingots
gravel = nothing
obsidian blast armor is crafted like: = head
= chest
= legs
= feet
next off, the industrial furnace, it will be crafted like: (remember, iron ore are iron ingots and gravel is nothing)
the industrial furnace will use new fuel, such as heatstone and will have two slots for smelting to allow alloy making. heatstone is an ore found deep underground that is found near pools of magma, it requires a diamond pickaxe to mine and can also be made into tools that auto smelt and have the durability of wood, and it can be made into a thermal torch, crafted like this:
iron ore = iron ingots
gravel = nothing
fire = heatstone
the thermal torch has the mob burning qualites of the sun, but only burns them if they are within a 4 block perimeter of the torch.
pt.2 steel, bronze, and dont forget titanium.
steel will be made at the industrial furnace and it will make tools and armor stronger than iron but weaker than titanium (1000 uses, diamond gets replaced.). it will be made by putting coal and iron in the melting slots along with heatstone in the fuel.
Tools will be crafted as usual.
titanium will be an ore that is as rare as gold but will fail to smelt in the industrial furnace 90% of the time, when it fails, the ore will vanish and you will not get an ingot. for this frustration, if it is succesful at smelting you will get ingots that can be made into tools with 1500 uses (better than diamond) and as fast as diamond tools. ( i know titanium has to be melted in a vaccum in real life, but for simplicity's sake it wil be smelted like normal)
bronze will be made in the industrial furnace and will cover the gap between iron and steel (meaning 500 uses) and will be made out of two new ores, copper and tin, copper itself will be in between coal and iron in terms of rareness and make tools better than stone but worse than iron. tin will be the new most common ore and can be made into blocks with a faint greenish tint. tools and blocks are crafted as usual. (copper and tin are both found inbetween coal and iron in the depth scale.
pt.3 mobs, meet the bear and vulture.
1. the bear will be found near caves and will drop fur when killed, the fur can be made into armor that can allow you to invisibly walk past mobs, other players will be able to see you, however. for this cool ability, bears have a catch... THERE WALKING TANKS! bears will have 20 hearts and dish out 4 hearts per hit, meaning they will need to be killed from a safe distance. they never spawn in packs and are rather rare.
vultures always spawn in packs and are scared of the player, however they will try to take any meat found on the ground, and will swoop down and take it without mercy. they drop black feathers when killed, which can be used to make better arrows that fly somewhat further.
pt.4 the spear
1. the spear is crafted like:
iron= whatever tool making material you want.
the spear dishes out two less hearts than the sword but has the reach of 7 blocks, making it perfect for keeping zombies and their invisible chainsaw at bay, and creepers as well.
pt.5 the reinforced glass...
reinforced glass is crafted like:
iron= steel
it gives you 5 reinforced glass. the explosion resistance is that of obsidian.
7/10 would be OP, remember, the tools are better than DIAMOND, and 7/10 would make it too easy.
bronze is useful because it would bridge the gap between iron and steel, right now the gap is a difference of 700 or so uses and a massive buff in speed, it would be like the gap between wood (iron) and iron (steel) if there wasnt stone (bronze).
remember, you can make the skin into a form of anti mob camo, but it will not work against players, as that would be OP.
the thermal torch could act as a mob repellant.

other than that, it looks pretty good. I like the concept of throwing meat down on the ground as vulture bait sounds awesome
