The other day I was playing Minecraft until I noticed something was not right - Minecraft didn't have any weather, just clouds, and the time of day.
So, I was wondering. Minecraft could have different kinds of weather. The kinds of weather could have different effects on the environment in Minecraft, such as:
Cloudy - More clouds could float in the sky covering the sun.
Rainy - Rain could come every 3-5 Minecraft days or so, and the rain could burn out fire, and increase the growth of trees. (Also notifys the player that lightning will show up)
Lightning - Lightning strikes come down from the sky on random places of the map, and could ignite wood surrounding the bolt. Thunder sounds afterwards.
I hope you support my suggestion and keep this thread alive! Thanks!
I think the worst part about this post is the fact that lightning comes before thunder.
*facepalm*
Light travels faster then sound. You shouldn't be if lightning is going to hit while you are sleeping, you should be made aware that it did hit. Besides, if wether came before or after doesn't really matter, since you cant do much about it.

Mostly moved on. May check back a few times a year.
Lightning DOES come before thunder, as light travels faster than sound
* Got some schooling involving exaggeration, so excuse me.
