I suggest adding a blueprint for one-way portals to the Nether (and back!). The main purpose of this is to improve fast travel systems, but it could also be used for mazes.
The formula could be a ring of 12 obsidian blocks laid on the ground (not standing up). You could also leave out the corners to just use 8 obsidian blocks.
If there is no nearby two-way portal, you simply get sent through to stand on a safe block on the other side. No obsidian ring is created for your return. This could be used to create mazes and haunted houses with points of no return, or to have a portal exit point that's free of the sight or sounds of a portal. It could also be used to suicidally strand yourself in the nether or get lost on earth, if that's what you really want to do.
However if a normal two way portal is nearby then stepping in the one-way portal would send you to the prexisting two-way portal on the other side, the same as if you built a two-way close to another two-way portal. This would improve interdimensional fast travel that uses multiple earth portals linked to a single nether portal. Right now it's hard to choose which portal you return to from the nether. With this you could make multiple one-way portals leading to the same place and only create a two-way portal for the location you want to emerge from. If you ever want to change your return point, just rearrange the blocks at the current return point and your desired return point.

What do you think?
That's not one-way.
Incompetence is a plague. I am the cure.

I meant that it works as a one-way portal from either dimension. So you could build a one-way portal in the nether that leads back to Earth.
If you read the suggestion I also suggest that one way portals can lead to two-way portals that you can use to get back.
I'm just suggesting the construction of portals that no portal will lead back to, not that people should get stranded anywhere.
