I was thinking that it would be cool to have berry bushes and/or fruit trees that are randomly generated and every 7 mine craft days or so some of the bushes grow blue berries, black berries, or raspberries and some trees would grow peaches, apples, or pears. The bushes could be bunches of leaves with one log in the middle. The berries could change the texture of the leaves to have a few little berry icons, and berries could be harvested by right clicking. Berries could be eaten to heal 1 heart or planted like a sapling to grow another bush, but there's only a 3 out of 10 chance it will be a berry bush and not just a bush and a 1 out of 10 chance for a fruit tree.
I am just a guy looking for good suggestions that are original, creative, and match the theme of Mine-craft. I have some mob ideas that I need help forming which is a community project.
if its been suggested why couldn't i find it with ctrl f ?
Because it doesn't work like that; in other words, use actual searching instead of asking your browser to find words on a page.
There's a thread around here that tells you how to enter a query into Google, but the quickest way? Just click the "View your posts" up there beside all that stuff (more concisely, below the Suggestions heading you'd see around the top of the page). It'll tell you that search is broken, and offer you a link, that takes you to google, which has the proper query format already typed in for you; all you have to do then is type in a word: "Fruit" or "berry" would work.

Are you always so pessimistic?
Yes, yes I am. A pessimist is always either right, or pleasantly surprised.

Egads..this is World of Warcraft meets Battlefield 1942 in a dark alley with way too much to drink and no discarded mattress nearby.
Many times.
And many others before you, sir. Don't claim to "own" it. But, yes, searching is good.
I've always liked the idea of fruit trees. I also like the berry bushes.
While probably not worthwhile as healing items, they'd still be nice for variety in landscape.
