When riden over, it gains 1m/s (m/s = meters per second; one block = 1m) velocity, and adds up for every electric track passed, until it reaches 8 m/s. Deceleration applies only when not on an electric track.
Pros:
1. More speed when applied to a large area
2. Less space wasted
3. No need to add a mod
(mention your own pros)
Cons:
1. Creates glitch if applied nonstop for an extended length, as mentioned in the Minecraft Wiki
2. Needs large amount of redstone dust to prove effective
(mention your own cons)

P.S. Don't assault me. I am a Minecrafter with wicked (in the good, although 90s, way) ideas like the rest of us. I don't want to be brought down just because you feel like I deserve it. Come on, people.

There has been suggestions of this many times before. If you search it up, you are bound to find at least one.

I am just a guy looking for good suggestions that are original, creative, and match the theme of Mine-craft. I have some mob ideas that I need help forming which is a community project.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I didn't know if this system had been mentioned, because the search bar is disabled. At least the way to create it is new, ha ha ha... right?

Better idea than booster tracks suggested elsewhere. Plus I've always wanted electric rails... posible new cart type, the "switch cart". A cart with a switch on it. Flipping switch powers the powered tracks the cart is connected to.
