I think that Minecraft should have seasons. And not just for weather changes, but daytime/nightime changes as well. In the Summer, days would get longer, and nights shorter. In desert biomes, perhaps you could have heat waves in the Summer? Crops might wither, water would recede, and flowers die. The when Fall comes the tree leaves change color and the nights get longer? Then, the days could start getting shorter again. Or, maybe even a few pumpkins would grow, a FEW. In the Winter, it could start snowing, but maybe only in snow biomes? I have personally always wanted a way for snow to "grow" back quicker. In Spring, flowers could re-grow so you wouldn't have to go far and wide to search for flowers. I am just thinking of ideas, so if you don't like something, don't get mad at ME. I am not really a huuugge fan of stuff dying, in a heat wave, but it WOULD add much more depth. Please, feel free to add more, or show me the error of my "newbie" ways.
Spring could also have more common rainstorms. Also, maybe some baby version of the animals could pop up during spring. The babies would drop no resources and have half the hp of the adults.

i like the floods idea and the babies idea, and maybe during the summer you could have droughts. in winter there could be s*** loads of snow everywhere and you could make a fort out of the snow and during fall the plants could have a 50 50 chance of dropping wood.
