ok. i know people peobably won't like this idea and it has probably been suggested before but i want to see the response i get from my take on this.
my idea is to make spawners craftable. these would only spawn peaceful mobs (cows, pigs, ect.)
now to try to make this balanced i have come up with a (imo) decent crafting recipe = empty spawner = redstone = any peaceful mob drop = ready to use spawner

now i know this seems a little expensive but when you can get unlimited i think it's worth it. just trying to make it somewhat ballanced
i chose redstone because it seems to have special properties when combined with other objects so i wouldn't think it too far fetched to have iron + diamond + redstone + random peaceful mob drop = spawner.
maybe, maybe, this could solve some problems where people want a "farm" but only have the time to catch one animal, only to have it despawn after some distance is travelled away from it. this could work.

unfortunately no. the reason being if you were to try to collect cooked pork chops from them they would attack you. they're neutral not peaceful.
