I was reading up on some threads about some people talking about magic in Minecraft. Well, it seems all the people who posted on there said something about Runescape which I find funny. You know Minecraft is like Runescape in several different aspects already. You cut down trees for wood, you make a fire to cook food. You get 'hides' from cows, which is like the leather they drop. But any who, people say that if there is magic in Minecraft it would ruin the game, and be like Runescape. But, there is already magic in Minecraft! There is the portal to the netherworld. You make that by striking flint on an obsidian square. That's like the portals in Elder Scrolls; Oblivion, no? It's magical! Some people say that the skeletons and zombies are magical. Well their not. They come from the underworld, or hell. So, I've seen these threads on here talking about runes, how they can be magical. If we don't like the word rune, (as it refers to Runescape for some dumb reason, and not the many other games that have runes in them), how about we call it Hell-crafting, Oblivion-crafting, or Nether-crafting. That way it still makes sense with the game, as they have a Netherworld. So if you call it Nether-crafting, it can be the 'mysterious and dark' gems and goodies from the netherworld that you can craft into these 'nether-induced' objects. So, give me your feedback. Tell me what you think. and s to you all. =]
Agreed.
